Creating a Modern Banking Experience

Growing up in a small town, our local bank reminded me of a movie set.

Polished brass bars and people in stylish suits and dresses could make a Saturday-morning visit feel like a big deal, but also kind of intimidating.

A lot has changed over the years, but one thing that hasn't changed is the importance of service.

Apple Federal Credit Union's 21 branches are designed with you in mind. You should always feel comfortable discussing your financial situation in person with our team of experts. The same holds true when you call us over the phone or chat with us online.

Our team wants to serve your individual needs while providing an exceptional banking experience, one where you feel connected to your member advisor. After all, banking will always be a big deal. It just shouldn't feel intimidating.

As Senior Vice President of Retail Delivery, I'm excited to share with you how we're creating a modern banking experience.

Expert Staff

We've noticed an interesting trend over the past few years — while our convenient digital products continue to expand, our members have consistently shown us the importance of in-person interactions at our branches.

This isn't surprising; in fact, it's essential to how we do business.

Members bank with us because of the personalized service they receive from our team of professionals. Whether it's opening a new checking account, financing a first home, saving for retirement or buying a new car, members want to work with people who they know and trust — something that will never change.

What has changed are the demands on your time. As a parent, I know how busy a day can get. Between driving kids to different appointments and navigating Northern Virginia traffic, there isn't always time for multiple weekly trips to the credit union.

That's why we want to make the most of your time and address all your needs when you visit one of our branches. Our well-versed staff is trained to answer any question you may have, from setting up your child's Online Banking to Zelle® person-to-person payments.

We've made it easy to book an in-person appointment on our website, where you can find the closest branch or ATM to your location. You can also always schedule a video appointment to meet with our team from the comfort of your home.

On Your Schedule

Visiting a branch is not always possible, which is why we've made it easy to handle so much of your banking online or over the phone.

Apple FCU continues to offer digital services like our Mobile Deposit feature, which allows you to deposit a check by snapping a photo, or our free online Bill Pay, where paying bills is secure and you only have to remember one password. We've also expanded our services to allow members to do things like open Certificates, pay a Loan, check their Credit Score or track their spending through Online Banking.

Of course, we will continue delivering the highest level of security to protect your personal information. And we will always provide comprehensive member support, whether it is in person, over the phone or online.

In fact, we recently unveiled Ava, Apple's Virtual Assistant, to help answer your questions. Ava is here 24/7 to help you find the information you require. Just head to our website and click the Let's talk button in the right corner of the screen to begin chatting.
