As Vice President of Branch Operations here at Apple Federal Credit Union, my team and I work hard to apply that belief to our work: blending the personal touch of community banking with the convenience of modern tools designed for busy people and families like you.

A Personalized Banking Experience from Start to Finish
When you pull into the drive-thru at your favorite fast-food place and give your order directly to a person holding a tablet, service feels a little more reassuring. There's something about being heard by another human that makes even small moments easier.
Banking is no different.
When you walk into one of our branches now, you'll still be welcomed by a friendly staff member—the same familiar faces you've come to rely on. The difference is that they'll now have a tablet, ready to help you from the moment you step through the door. If you have a quick question or something we can resolve on the spot, we want to take care of it right away rather than send you into a line you don't need to stand in.
The more quickly we can support you, the more quickly you can get back to spending your time the way you want to: cheering at a soccer game, helping with homework or enjoying a quiet moment before the next busy day. And don't forget, you can always schedule an appointment in advance to manage your schedule more efficiently.
ATMs Have Gotten an Upgrade—Say Hello to ITMs
While ATMs are perfect for quick withdrawals, we wanted to provide you more flexibility when you're on the go. That's why, in seven of our branches, you'll now find Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), a tool that pairs the convenience of self-service with the reassurance of human support.
With an ITM, you can still take care of the basics, but you can also connect with a live remote teller for more complex needs: Loan applications, replacement debit cards and updates to account information, to name a few. And with support available in both English and Spanish, we're able to serve our members with more ease, accessibility and care than ever before.
Seeing how many members are already using these machines tells us something important: you've been looking for new ways to fit banking into your life, and these ITMs are helping you do exactly that. Even so, we know not every question can (or should) be handled through a screen. Some conversations deserve time, attention and a familiar face. Through all these technical changes, there will continue to be a real person with a smile and a solution ready to help you when you need it.
Building Everyday Savings, Effortlessly
As much as we're focused on improving your in-person experience, supporting you doesn't end at the counter or after a video session at an ITM. Part of creating a seamless experience is providing tools that keep working for you long after you leave the branch.

That's why we recently introduced SafetyNet and Round Up to give you simple, automatic savings options and strengthen your financial foundation without changing your spending or your schedule.
SafetyNet gives you a secure place to grow your family's emergency fund with recurring contributions at a premium rate. Round Up then takes the small change from each Debit Card purchase and moves it directly into your SafetyNet account, helping your savings grow quietly in the background.
