- Apple FCU pays 90% of the premium for single coverage and 80% of the premium for all dependent coverage for our HRA and HMO plans and the same dollar amount that we pay toward the HMO toward PPO coverage.
- $1,000 yearly taxable cash benefit to employees who opt out of Apple’s health insurance plan.
- Comprehensive dental coverage, including orthodontia for children.

Education Assistance Reimbursement
Employees may be reimbursed up to $4,000 per year for undergraduate coursework and up to $5,250 per year for graduate coursework.

Benefit is no cost to you and pays 66 2/3% of employee monthly earnings if disabled for 90 days or more.

Group-Term Life Insurance
Benefit is fully paid by Apple and is two times an employee’s salary.
Defined Benefit Retirement Plan
Apple contributes to a defined benefit plan on behalf of eligible staff members that can provide supplemental income at retirement.
Pre-tax 401k Retirement Savings Plan
Apple matches dollar for dollar up to 5% of employee compensation for eligible staff members.
- Full-time - 12-24 days per year.
- Part-time - Accrue leave on a prorated basis based on the hours worked.
- Full-time 12 days per year, accrual is unlimited.
- 10 paid regular holidays (part-time staff members are paid a specific number of holiday hours for the 10 holidays observed by the Credit Union).
- 3 personal holidays per year.
Other Paid Leave
- Paid leave for specific types of military training, bereavement and court leave.
Leave Sell Back
- Employees may sell back vacation leave in excess of required minimums.

The City of Fairfax School Board recognized Apple Federal Credit Union for the company’s strong support of the division’s schools.
