Welcome to Apple Federal Credit Union’s Online Banking account deletion policy page. Below, you'll find detailed steps on how to proceed with any requests to delete your account and information on the data removed and retained during this process.
Steps to Request Account Deletion
Contact us to request that you would like to delete your Online Banking account by any of the methods listed below:
- Call us at 703-788-4800, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m., or Saturday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
- Send a secure email message by logging into Online Banking and clicking the envelope icon or send a secure message now.
- Chat with a representative during business hours. Log in to Online Banking and click Let's Talk.
Data Deletion from the App
When you request the deletion of your account, the following data will be deleted:
- Personal information: all personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Transaction history: all records of your financial transactions within the app.
- App usage data: any data related to your interactions and usage of the Apple FCU Mobile App.
