The strength of your login credentials is an integral element of this protection.

Our Enhanced Multi-Factor Authentication (EMFA) ensures the highest levels of security for your online transactions. The solution is designed to preserve the convenience and usability of your online banking experience while providing peace-of-mind.

Username Requirements

  • Must be between 8 - 20 characters
  • Alphanumeric
  • Can contain specific special characters:
    •   . (period)
    •   _ (underscore)
  • Can contain numbers, but NOT your Member Number or sequences longer than 4 digits (i.e., 12345 or abcde) 

Password Requirements

  • Must be between 8 and 20 characters
  • Must contain a combination of letters, numbers and special characters. Passwords cannot use following special characters: 
    •   ~ (tilde)
    •   : (colon)
    •   . (period)
    •   @ (at symbol)
  • Cannot contain your member number
  • Cannot contain any spaces
  • Cannot be a substring of the Username

Multi-Factor Authentication

When you attempt to login from a new computer/device, or perform certain transactions or functions within the system, you will receive an instant, one-time access code, to either a phone number or email you provide during setup, to authenticate you as the true “user”. Coupled with your login credentials, this provides an even more secure login process.

Apple FCU uses small text files called cookies to collect anonymous data for purposes as allowed by law, including improving our website, services and information security. Our cookies do not collect or store any personally identifiable information.
