Yes, there is a $20 fee per wire transfer initiated in Online Banking.

No, only domestic wire transfers are currently available.

Wires received by 2 p.m. are processed the same day. Wires received after 2 p.m. or on a weekend or holiday will be processed the next business day.

Members interested in Remote Deposit Capture must fill out our application to determine qualification.

For members that qualify, the Remote Deposit Capture Service will be enabled in the Mobile App after signing the Remote Deposit Capture disclosure.

To begin the application process, please contact a member of our Commercial Services team at (703) 788-4800. Eligibility for Remote Deposit is subject to Apple FCU approval. 

Qualified commercial members will enjoy FREE access to our Remote Deposit Capture service. The only fee that will be incurred is the cost of the scanner.

To access Remote Deposit Capture, a Cannon CR-L1 scanner is required. This scanner can be purchased directly through us for a one-time charge of $545.99 or 12 monthly payments of $45.50. 

Unfortunately, the software is specific to a Cannon CR-L1 to use this service.  

Once a member is successfully enrolled, they will be given access in Online Banking. The Remote Deposit Capture service will be available under the "Accounts" tab of Online Banking. 

No, we don't charge an annual fee for the Apple FCU Visa Business Rewards Card.

The following must be included on the back of the check:  

  • Endorsement (signature) 
  • "For remote deposit only."

PLEASE NOTE: If the back of the check is not properly endorsed, Apple Federal Credit Union reserves the right to reject the check for deposit. Please review the Remote Deposit Capture disclosure for more details or contact a member of the Commercial Services team for assistance.  

There are no limits to the number of checks you may deposit. However, there are strict total deposit limits determined during the application process based on the needs of the business. The member will have full access to this limit once enrolled.   .

Please store your checks in a safe place for 60 days from the date of your deposit. In the event of a deposit dispute, Apple Federal Credit Union may require presentation of the original check to settle the dispute. After 60 days, you may securely destroy the check.
