ABOUT APPLE FCU
In 1956, a group of educators working within the Fairfax County Public School system came together to assist a colleague in purchasing a set of car tires. This seemingly simple act, though these 10 teachers could not have known it at the time, planted the seeds for a partnership that would span half a century and serve thousands of members in the pursuit of an improved life, either through education and/or the achievement of dreams.
Today, Apple Federal Credit Union continues this tradition of service with a full-range of high-quality, low-cost financial products and services designed to help members achieve their financial goals. Every one of Apple FCU’s more than 89,000 members owns an equal share of the credit union, and it is because of this dynamic that all earnings are returned to the membership in the form of lower loan rates and higher dividend yields. Plus, member deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a federal government agency.

Our Concept...
A Better Grade of Banking. A vast amount of difference exists between the terms bank and banking. As a not-for-profit credit union, Apple offers many financial services that fall under the term banking, i.e. deposits, loans, checking and more. But it’s Apple’s personalized service and financial solutions, and competitive rates and products, that allow members to truly experience the credit union difference. It’s banking, but better.
